End of season beer

So end of our season for the Bed and Breakfast is upon us. We’ve invited family over to a “bottomless brunch” consisting of Prosecco, full English breakfasts and some of my home brew which I’m naming “Seasons End”. So much for the end of season!

The beer is a single hopped ale made with lots of Citra hops. Oakham brewery brew a Citra beer which is quaffable and very tasty. I’ve obviously had to taste test the beer in advance, just in case, and it’s beautiful!

I’ve been quiet on the blog front but on the brewing front have been entering more competitions and have recently achieved an “honourable mention” for a dark mild I brewed. Next up will be doing some pressure fermentation as I’ve heard it makes a huge difference to the beer.
